Economy & Finances

Oreland has a completely isolated economy: there is only trade with similar regimes.
In 1938 the inhabitants discovered a uranium mine in the mountains. The minerals extracted from the hills contain about 63 % of uranium, which is an incredible high content in comparison with other sources. Most profit comes from these uranium minerals, but also from the ores and precious metals, found into the sea or mountains.
The flourishing economy stimulates heavy investments in nuclear energy. The aim is to encourage the productivity of the factories where nuclear weapons and jewellery are made.
