The population growth rate is in decline. For that reason, there is no birth control production and people who are involved in illegal production or trade of birth control are sentenced to death. Illegal abortion is also a very serious criminal offence. On top of that, families are also encouraged to have at least 6 children.

 

There are some stereotype gender roles. 72 % of the inhabitants are male and 28 % are female. The average life expectancy is 50. The population is so young because every year Mother Nature takes over and steals away the lives of inhabitants to preserve the beauty of the country. It's a natural process of balancing the pollution.

Children between 6 and 16 years old receive an education, which stresses caring our care for nature and its precious metals. They receive this education to become good factory workers and to strengthen the economy.

The (mainly male) inhabitants are too rational to believe in some sort of god or higher power. Above all, they believe in themselves and their own skills to make Oreland great.
